How much Matt Fitzpatrick and others won at the RBC Heritage on the PGA Tour
England's Matt Fitzpatrick wins big bucks as he takes down Jordan Spieth in extra holes.
Matt Fitzpatrick clinched his second career title on the PGA Tour and with it a cheque for $3.6m following playoff victory over Jordan Spieth at the RBC Heritage.
Fitzpatrick prevailed at the third extra hole (18th) when sending a 9-iron down the flag for a tap-in birdie and the win.
Spieth lipped out for a winning birdie on the first extra hole (18th) and then saw his birdie putt on the second extra hole (17th) agonisingly slip by on the right side.
Despite narrowly missing out on becoming the fourth player to defend the RBC Heritage, three-time major champion Spieth walks away with a cheque for $2.1m.
