Golf fans slam PGA Tour official over 'bizarre' Tyrrell Hatton exchange
Golf fans appeared to be unanimous with their verdict of this exchange Tyrrell Hatton had with a PGA Tour official after the BMW Championship.
Golf fans appeared to be unanimous in their verdict after a poor soul at the PGA Tour was 'sent into the lion's den in the name of content' with England's Tyrrell Hatton.
For context, Hatton had just completed the final round of the second leg of the FedExCup playoffs at the BMW Championship.
It was a disastrous finish for the Englishman as he played his final four holes at Olympia Fields Country Club in 4-over.
His frustration was evident on No. 18 when he caught the lip of the bunker playing his approach.
Hatton had a complete meltdown and smashed the sand with his iron before throwing it on the floor. Then he held his head in his hands.
By day's end his final round of 71 meant he finished T-34 but was also in a precarious position over whether he would make it to Atlanta next week for the season finale at East Lake.
I’d pay $100 to have Hatton mic’ed up for each of the remaining shots pic.twitter.com/hW7kxAl6xl

Only the top 30 players in the standings make it through to the $75m Tour Championship.
Hatton felt in the immediate aftermath of his round he wasn't going to be in the field. "I don't think I'll be there," he told an official.
That was because Denny McCarthy, Sahith Theegala, Chris Kirk and Justin Rose had holes to play and were hoping of leapfrogging Hatton.

But Hatton squeaked into the field along with Jordan Spieth and European Ryder Cup hopeful Sepp Straka.
Still, over at GolfMagic we suggest he didn't really want to have this conversation:
Anything can happen on the bubble.
