Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood may be the best of friends, but they'll be enemies on the course this week as they fight out the European Tour's season-long Race to Dubai title.

Molinari and Fleetwood's bromance blossomed at the Ryder Cup at Le Golf National, where the Italian and Englihman went undefeated 4-0 together.

Heading into the season finale at the DP World Tour Championship, only Molinari and Fleetwood can win the Race to Dubai, after Lee Westwood ended the hopes of Haotong Li, Rory McIlroy and Lucas Bjerregaard holding any mathematical chance of entering the mix after landing his 24th European Tour title in South Africa on Sunday.

Only a Fleetwood victory in Dubai will give him any chance of defending his Race to Dubai title. The Englishman will then need his good pal Molinari to finish worse than a two-way tie for fifth.

Anything less than that, and Open champion Molinari will deservedly take the Race to Dubai for the first time in his career.

No matter what happens this week, golf's power couple - now better known as Moliwood - is here to stay.
