New web platform to connect golfers when restrictions are lifted
Linksbook to give golfers some much needed focus when golf courses begin to reopen...
In these incredibly difficult times for golf and, of course, society in general, a new online golf networking platform called Linksbook is ready to give golfers some much needed focus as soon as courses begin to reopen.
Linksbook is the latest online golf network from the creators and founders of the hugely popular Virgin Atlantic Flying Club ‘Swingers’ programme. With 16 years experience, Milestone Event Management have utilised the best features of the Virgin Atlantic programme and taken the concept to a new level of networking in the world of golf.
With a major investment into a sophisticated web platform, Linksbook makes it easy for members to connect with other golfers and golfing brands to enhance their golfing lives.
Linksbook provides golfers from any demographic the ability to organise their golf calendar with fellow users at a click of a button, whilst giving easy access to all their golfing news and scores.
Linksbookgolf.com is open for pre-registration and will go live as soon as golfers around the UK are allowed to return to the fairways.
Even if there are no club competitions to play for during these times of social distancing, golfers will be able to see their personal progress against other golfers online, whilst building up a whole new network of social and business golfing contacts.
Leading brands such as Titleist, Your Golf Travel, Stewart Golf, Glenmuir, Sunderland of Scotland, Dirty Dog Eyewear, Blunt Umbrellas and Hayman’s Gin have already signed up to be partners and will be providing gifts and prizes to members.
In addition, Linksbook have teamed up with former World Golf Trick Shot Champion Geoff Swain who will be providing unique content, commentary and good humour for members throughout the season.
Luke Parry, director of Milestone Event Management is confident Linksbook will appeal to golfers throughout the UK and futher afield.
"Having run a hugely successful programme with Virgin Atlantic, we know there’s a real appetite for a modern golf networking platform," said Parry.
"We are excited to now have the opportunity to offer the general golfing public a new and improved version of what has been a bit of a hidden secret for those Virgin Atlantic flyers for the past 16 years."
Parry added: "We are delighted that some big names in the golf industry recognise the potential and opportunity with Linksbook and we look forward to working with these brands in delivering something unique and exciting for golfers during these difficult times."
Linksbookgolf.com will launch when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and when golf courses resume visitor play.
