2008 Burner fairway woods for July
High and Tour Launch models

TaylorMade makers of the Tour-proven Tour Burner driver with its Dual Crown technology, which has found favour with so many top players, has now introduced the next generation of Burner fairway woods. They will be available in July in two models - the Burner High Launch, engineered to make it easy to set the ball on a towering, long-carrying flight at average swing speeds and the Burner Tour Launch, which promotes the lower, penetrating and more workable ball flight that skilled players with higher swing speeds prefer. Both fairway woods, claim the makers, share several key performance attributes, including DC technology with a smaller sole and a deep centre of gravity to promote longer distance with less spin. The sleek, triangular head shapes are also noticeable - with the larger Burner HL model making it more stable and forgiving, while the Burner TL is slightly more compact with a centre of gravity positioned to suyit better players. Burner HL woods are available: 3-wood (15 degrees), 5- (18) and 7-wood (21) options and the Burner TL comes asa 13-degree TS (Tour Spoon), T3 (14.5) and T5 (17.5). The new Burnerwoods will be available in July priced at £149 each. |
