Stuburt Profile.

Stuburt unveils five new golf shoe models between £35 and £60 in August which, it believes, will re-establish it among the leading brands.

The Profile, Combi-Lite, E-Lite, Concept and Pro-Am styles feature leather uppers, waterproof membranes, distinctive soles units and Champ scorpion stinger studs.

Top of the range is the Profile (£59.99) with a cross-over saddle and leather lined ankle collar. It has a DriBack waterproof bootie membrane combining breathability with protection and a Tri-Part engineered outsole and carbon graphite TPU midfoot support for stability, flexibility and comfort.

Colours are black, black/dark grey, white/black and white/burgundy.

The Elite and Combi-Lite models (£49.99) share many of the performance features of the Profile, but differ chiefly in that the Combi-Lite has a traditional feel while the Elite has an athletic style with a mesh-vented saddle.

At £39.99, the Concept shoe combines leather uppers with Micro-Fibre sections designed for comfort and a Direct Injection lacing system which grips the lace better for a consistently close, assured fit. Colour options: are black, white/black and white/burgundy.

Love those shoes, Davis!

* FootJoy is set to launch three styles for its winter range in September – all in black.

Says, the company’s director of sales, Mike Lucas: "Over the years black leather golf shoes have been our best selling styles all year round. In the winter months, demand for black is even higher so we took the decision to broaden the style options in three of our most popular ranges – including DryJoys and Aqualites - to provide an even greater choice for golfers buying new shoes for the winter."

In advance of their launch in 2005, a handful of players, including Davis Love III and Paul Casey, were wearing the next generation FootJoy range – Classics Tour – at the Open Champion at Royal Troon. The shoes are 30% lighter than the current Classics Premier models and help reduce foot fatigue.
