Justin Rose: What's in the bag?
Zurich Classic winner uses TaylorMade's latest equipment
Justin Rose clinched his seventh PGA Tour title at the Zurich Classic with a bag brimming with TaylorMade’s latest innovations.
The 2013 US Open champion triumphed by a single stroke at TPC Louisiana after birdieing the final two holes.
After his win, Rose revealed tinkering with his swing helped him overcome a slow start to the season.
"I knew I had the club under me and I wasn’t using my rotation well enough and my body well enough," the Englishman said. "When I first started working with Sean [Foley – Rose’s coach]…we tried to keep much more connected through impact with my torso.
“A lot of tour players welcome that type of thing, but trying to keep a little bit more lag coming down, not flipping it as much…those have been my feels."
The Englishman, who was tied second at the Masters, added: "The first sort of four months of the year I was chasing a different swing thought every day. In the last month I've had the same thought waking up every day.
"Swing hasn't always felt exactly the same, but when you're not chasing something, it becomes a lot more consistent."
