Adam Hadwin reveals he met his wife on Tinder

With tournaments just about every week on the PGA Tour, with a small break for festivities at Christmas, dating can often be hard for the touring professional. 

I know what you're thinking, it didn't stop Tiger Woods much. Anyway, that's for another day...

Enter dating apps such as Tinder, in which you swipe left or right depending on whether you take interest in another user.

To find potential partners, you set your radar settings to anywhere within one mile and 200 miles... should you be that desperate and prepared for an away day.

It's then a left for no thanks or a right if you'd like to invite them along for an interview.

If the person you swiped right for also swipes right, you're matched and it's very much game on.

Lucky for Adam Hadwin, his wife Jess also swiped right one week in Kansas.

"Jess and I have always said that we met in Wichita when I was playing an event, and we kind of just left it at that," Hadwin told Golf.com.

"Then we had to bring up how, and of course you bring it up now but, it is the truth. We were Tinder-matched in Wichita there, and we went out once when I was there that week, had dinner."

The rest is history for the couple. Hadwin and his wife married on March 24, just days after his win at the Valspar Championship which guaranteed him a spot in the field at the 2017 Masters, where he finished tied 36th.

That's the week the couple were supposed to be honeymooning, but Jess understandingly obliged a change of plans.

"You know, it's funny. It's been almost three years now since we met, and I don't think we've gone a day without talking," said Hadwin, who joined golf's elite 59 club when posting the magic number in the third round of the CareerBuilder Challenge earlier this season.

As for Hadwin's key tip for finding love on Tinder... "you've got to be looking for the right thing."
