LPGA Tour pro shoots back-nine 30 in EPIC come-from-behind win!
An LPGA Tour pro had flawless bogey-free round to win the Meijer LPGA Classic.
Leona Maguire had an epic back-nine finish Sunday to claim her second career LPGA Tour title at Blythefield Country Club.
Maguire, 28, first grabbed her maiden LPGA Tour victory last season at the LPGA Drive On Championship.
She defeated 11-time LPGA Tour winner Lexi Thompson by three strokes, and has been knocking on the door for her second victory ever since.
So far this season, the Irish star has four top 10s and and three more finishes inside the top 25, as she entered the week of the Meijer LPGA Classic.
Maguire has a fascinating history at the event, finishing runner-up in the past two installments.

First she finished two-strokes back of Nelly Korda in 2021, and then lost to Jennifer Kupcho during a three-player playoff with Korda in 2022.
But it seems third time's the charm for Maguire at the Meijer LPGA Classic.
Because on Sunday, despite entering the round two strokes back of the leader, Maguire fired off an incredible 8-under 64 to win the tournament by two strokes at 21-under par.

Her Sunday round was bogey-free, and highlighted by a back-nine 30 where she went 6-under in her last six holes to seal the deal.
"I mean, this one is I think that little bit sweeter after coming so close two years in a row. I know a lot of people this week were saying you're due one, this course owes you something, all the rest," Maguire told reporters after the tournament. "But I suppose that's not golf. Golf usually doesn't work like that. But nice that it all worked out well for me this week."
Ariya Jutanugarn finished second at 19-under par, while Xiyu Lin and 54-hole leader Amy Yang finished tied for third 18-under par.
Next week, the LPGA Tour heads to their second major of the season with the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey.
