Nobody can quite believe these Ryder Cup comments during the LIV Golf coverage
Are they actually serious?!
A couple of weeks ago Talor Gooch came under fire for his absurd comment comparing the atmosphere of a Ryder Cup between Europe and United States to that of the LIV Golf Invitational Portland.
He soon went back on his word, admitting "I was in the moment, I might have gotten a little aggressive with those comments."

Fair play, it was said in the heat of the moment and at least Gooch had the decency to hold his hands up and admit he was wrong earlier this month.
But here we are in the very next LIV Golf tournament in Bedminster at the end of July, and the same comparison is being drawn.
This time by the LIV Golf commentary team comprising Arlo White, Jerry Foltz and David Feherty.
In the second round of the LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster, a tweet was sent in to the studio by a golf fan that read:
"With the 4Aces and The Majesticks fighting for the team lead at LIV Golf at the moment, it does have a Team USA vs Europe Ryder Cup-type feel."
According to Graeme McDowell, those on Twitter "are a bunch of idiots".
For reference, 4Aces is an all-American team featuring Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Pat Perez and Gooch, while The Majesticks comprises an all-European quartet of Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Sam Horsfield and Henrik Stenson.
Lead commentator Arlo White could have shut such a tweet down, but given he is being paid a fortune to big up LIV Golf in the comms box, he went along with it. And so did his co-commentator Jerry Foltz, formerly a long-time commentator for Golf Channel.

"You're right, it does have a USA against Europe Ryder Cup feel to it at the moment, it could all change," said White.
Foltz then agreed: "The players will tell you the same thing. We get ridiculed for saying such a thing, but the players will tell you it's got that atmosphere, it's got that feel. It's something special out here. It's just that simple."
The players will tell you?! Two weeks ago, Gooch was even getting ridiculed by fellow LIV Golf players for his comments about comparing it to the Ryder Cup so we are fairly certain the players will not tell you, Jerry.
David Feherty, who made his LIV Golf debut in the comms box this week after leaving NBC, then got involved with the comment after no doubt thinking: "Really, lads?" as he said: "Yeah, and it's early days."
Earlier in the week, Feherty spoke about his admiration of LIV Golf's decision to use a shotgun start in each of their tournaments.

"I've been watching and I've got to tell you that I was sceptical at first about the shotgun start, I thought 'ah how can you have a professional event with a shotgun start', but what it's done is that it's put these players together in situations that they're not used to, they're all together in the locker room, they're all together on the range, they're all together on the golf course and they finish at the same time," said Feherty.
"There's an atmosphere here unlike any other golf tournament I've been at, it's sort of a brotherhood out here, the families are all together out here, I've never seen so many wives and children out, it's a party and a golf tournament broke out and I'm delighted to be here."
