LIV Golf: Which players have made the most money after Chicago Invitational?
Cameron Smith broke into the top 10 players who have earned the most money on the LIV Golf Invitational Series despite playing just two events.
Cameron Smith made the most significant move in the total LIV Golf earnings list after his debut win on the Saudi-backed series at the Chicago Invitational.
Smith carded a final round score of 69 at Rich Harvest Farms to finish on 13-under-par, three shots ahead of Americans Dustin Johnson and Peter Uihlein.
Having finished tied fourth at the Boston Invitational on his debut for the tour commissioned by fellow Aussie Greg Norman, Smith has banked $5,075,250 in total. He is yet to earn any team prize money with Punch GC.
With a tied second finish and a fourth consecutive victory in the team format with 4 Aces, Johnson has now earned $12,525,000 which is almost $5 million more than the nearest high earner in Branden Grace.
The two-time major champion has been a picture of consistency on the LIV Golf Tour, which is why Norman labelled him and Smith as the top two players in the game right now.
Uihlein got his biggest payday yet since leaving the PGA Tour. The 33-year-old banked $2,187,500 for his runner-up finish in both the individual and team format with Smash GC.
Despite another lucrative week for Pat Perez who earned over $900,000, he was bumped from the top 10 earners list after the fifth event of the breakaway tour's inaugural season.
