Dustin Johnson just BURNED Talor Gooch with this comment about new LIV Golf pro
Dustin Johnson believes his 4 Aces GC is even stronger than last year ahead of the new LIV Golf League.
Dustin Johnson has burned former teammate Talor Gooch following comments made about his 4 Aces GC ahead of the opening event of the new LIV Golf League season.
Captain Johnson has rung one change to his team ahead of the new campaign by replacing Gooch with Peter Uihlein, who joins from Brooks Koepka's Smash GC.
Gooch now finds himself on the revamped RangeGoats team captained by Bubba Watson.
DJ, who signed for LIV Golf in a deal worth $150 million and tore up his PGA Tour card in the process last season, believes Uihlein will make his 4 Aces GC an even stronger unit than with Gooch.
Patrick Reed and Pat Perez (somehow) remain on board.
Which is the strongest LIV Golf League team on paper this season?

The 4 Aces hacked up just about everywhere they went on LIV Golf in the inaugural 2022 season, winning five of the eight team events, highlighted with end-of-season glory at the Miami Team Championship.
Gooch proved a real asset for the 4 Aces team last year, at least in terms of results, as he finished inside the top 10 off his own ball on five occasions.
The same probably could not be said for Perez, who somehow hangs on to his place despite just one top-10 all season.
He did contribute significantly in the season finale, which probably saved his bacon.
Then again, he is good mates with DJ.
Uihlein, on the other hand, had just three top-10 finishes, albeit they were all in the top three.
On the eve of this week's opening LIV Golf Mayakoba in Mexico, two-time major champion Johnson said:
While Johnson was talking to the media, his wife Paulina Gretzky was showing off her cheeky new bum tattoo on the Gram.
Earlier this week, Johnson saw his long-term adidas deal come to an end.
Not that the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) mean a lot for LIV Golf players these days, but Gooch is currently ranked 43rd.
Gooch is positioned 11 rungs better off on the ladder than Johnson, who unthinkably as a former World No.1 now languishes down at 54th.
Uihlein, however, is ranked 403rd.
Is he really any better than Gooch?
I guess time will tell for the Aces.
Gooch is also a one-time PGA Tour winner following victory at the 2021 RSM Classic.
He made some fairly radical comments about the LIV Golf atmosphere in July last year.
Uihlein, on the other hand, has never even won on the PGA Tour, albeit he did clinch the mighty Madeira Islands Open on the European Tour back in 2013.
He certainly needed little convincing to leave Koepka's Smash GC to join Johnson's 4 Aces.
