Tiger Woods OUT of Honda Classic, will play Bay Hill and The Players
Woods reveals his upcoming PGA Tour schedule...
Tiger Woods has confirmed he will be skipping this week's Honda Classic on the PGA Tour but that he will tee it up at the forthcoming Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship.
Woods finished tied 10th at last week's WGC-Mexico Championship to mark his sixth top-20 finish in a row on the PGA Tour.
The World No.12 will now enjoy a week off before heading onto Bay Hill and TPC Sawgrass.
Unfortunately, due to the schedule this year, I cannot play all the events I want to. I will be taking next week off and playing in the @APinv and @THEPLAYERSChamp. Sorry to miss seeing Jack and everyone at Honda.

Woods' omission from this week's Honda Classic at the testing PGA National featuring the famous 'Bear Trap' is somewhat of a surprise given the proximity of the venue to the American's home in Jupiter, Fla.
Then again, Woods has never won this tournament in four attempts as a professional.
However, Woods has made it clear he wants to feel fresher coming into tournaments, particularly with The Masters in April at the forefont of his thinking.
Woods will next head to Bay Hill in March where he's won a record eight times, before moving onto The Players, which he has won twice (2001 and 2013).
Despite finishing runner-up at the Valspar Championship - which falls the week after the PGA Tour's flagship event of the season - the former World No.1 has yet to confirm his participation at Innisbrook Resort.
