Junior golfer catches one shot so heavy the club gets WEDGED into the fairway
Perhaps it might have rained before this little man went out to play?!
Sometimes in golf we are absolutely chomping at the bit to get out there, even though we know the conditions aren't going to be great.
When it's a little wet under foot, our fat shots are going to be even worse. The club is going to get stuck in the ground and the ball isn't going to go anywhere.
But us amateurs are gluttons for punishment and we are more than happy to go out and play in any conditions. This little lad experienced something pretty hilarious.
He's got his friend filming an approach shot. He winds to the top of his swing and then that is where it all starts to go pair shaped. He catches it fat. I mean, really fat. The club head gets stuck so far behind the ball and is wedged into the turf.

The good-humoured junior golfer captions the Instagram post: "Well... the fairway was a little damp today."
Yeah, it was a little bit wet underfoot.
"A little fat would you say" his friend says as they both stare at the club in fits of laughter.
Perhaps next time he should wait until the fairways dry out a little bit?
Absolutely no chance. We love this game.
