Faldo rips Koepka with "THONG" comment during live golf coverage
The ding-dong verbal war between Koepka and Faldo continues on day one at the Travelers Championship...
The cheap shots between Sir Nick Faldo and Brooks Koepka continued on day one of the Travelers Championship as the Englishman claimed the American was "probably poolside in his thong enjoying himself" during the live coverage.
World No.4 Koepka withdrew from this week's Travelers Championship due to his caddie Ricky Elliott testing positive for coronavirus earlier in the week.
May have to turn up the volume but sounds like Sir Nick Faldo is still a little irked by Brooks Koepka’s comments about golf commentators. #pga #PGATour #TravelersChamp #CantWeGetAlong pic.twitter.com/G3lQowN8Nv

If you missed the recent spat between Faldo and Koepka from last week's RBC Heritage, you can read about it here.
Social media was quick to jump over Faldo's latest prod on Thursday, which reverts back to Koepka posing in THAT THONG with his girlfriend Jena Sims while on holiday last year.
"Tim Wilkinson took the place of the great Brooks Koepka, which was sad for Brooks to miss out," said Faldo during the live coverage of the first round of the Travelers Championship as Wilkinson joined the group of Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas.
"I was looking forward to hearing more fascinating stuff from him today, but unfortunately he wasn't around this week.
"I know he's watching at home guys cos he loves listening to we analysts and our scintillating insights.
"He's probably poolside in his thong enjoying himself."
If Koepka was doing just that, then you can be sure he will be plotting his next move.

Wish Faldo would exercise an abundance of caution and WD from broadcasting

Lol Nick Faldo just keeps poking the bear with Brooks Koepka......is Faldo blind? Has he not seen those biceps? Honestly would love it if Koepka just absolutely dummied him

Koepka was one of a number of withdrawals from the event along with Cameron Champ, who became the second PGA Tour pro to test positive for COVID-19 in two weeks following Nick Watney last week.
The four-time major winner's brother Chase also withdrew from the tournament, along with Graeme McDowell after learning his caddie Ken Comboy had tested positive for coronavirus.
Last week's RBC Heritage winner and FedEx Cup leader Webb Simpson also withdrew due to a family member testing positive for coronavirus.

Mackenzie Hughes raced out the blocks to lead on day one of the Travelers Championship with a 10-under 60.
The Canadian had a chance for a rare 59 but left his 40-foot birdie putt on his final hole four-feet short for a par.
Rory McIlroy also started fast with a superb round of 7-under par, alongside Schauffele and Viktor Hovland.
Phil Mickelson is a further stroke back on 6-under par, with in-form Bryson DeChambeau another shot back on 5-under par.
