Guido Migliozzi earns European Tour card: "My dream is now reality"
Our Tour blogger Guido Migliozzi earns his European Tour card for 2019 - hear from the man himself...
Hi GolfMagic, hope you guys are well.
Wow, wow, wow!
I'm so excited as I write this latest blog that I can confirm I have secured my playing rights for the 2019 European Tour season. This is an absolute dream of mine since I took up the game as a kid and I'm ecstatic that the dream is now a reality.
Last week was both a mentally and physically draining six days of golf at the European Tour School finals at Lumine GC in Spain, where only 25 golfers (and ties) from over 150 secure a European Tour card.
Rounds of 70, 65, 72, 66, 68 and 69 gave me a 18-under par total to finish in a tie for 13th. I cannot describe the emotions you feel during the week, it’s an incredibly high pressurised environment and every shot counts.
Whilst I enjoyed the experience I’m glad it’s over and I can now look forward to planning my schedule alongside the best golf tour in Europe.

As I look back on my 2018 season, it's been a fantastic campaign packed with many highlights, including two professional wins on the Alps Tour, along with some more challenging moments. I guess that's the beauty of golf at an elite level with the high of the highs, and the lows of the lows! However, every situation has been a learning experience and it has made me into a better golfer.
I must take this opportunity to thank my family, all my friends, my sponsors TaylorMade, Galvin Green, Your Golf Travel, Golfposer and all the readers of GolfMagic.com for the support they have shown me. Also Niall, Mark, Ian, Katy and the whole team at Modest! Golf Management. It really makes a difference knowing you have so many people rooting for you.
To celebrate my good news, Your Golf Travel have given me a £100 voucher to give away to a lucky reader! To enter, just head to GolfMagic's social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to learn more.
Next stop for me is Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open at Anahita before two weeks in South Africa.
I look forward to updating you all on my 2019 season. Exciting times!
