Looks and Feel
Both sets of irons will appeal to a wide range of players, and they receive big green ticks from us in the looks department.
The BR-Pro irons offer slightly more sleeker looks of the two, and single-figure handicappers will likely prefer the appearance of this iron set.
The Delta XT irons will likely better suit game improvement players, but we could not put you off either.
But as we all know, looks are very much personal preference at the end of the day.
They're both classy, clean and neat.
The weight port screws in the Delta XT irons look particularly neat for a game improvement set of irons.
In terms of feel, both sets of irons felt great, especially the KBS Tour Lite shaft in the Delta XT irons.
The feedback you receive at impact from both sets of irons is first class.
You can really hear the difference when catching one out of the middle and when slightly hitting it off-centre.
Forgiveness and Performance
Two really forgiving sets of irons, and given their price point against some of the higher priced sets of irons out there today, you have to applaud Benross for what they've done here.
The Delta XT irons are slightly more forgiving of the two sets of irons, but there's not a great deal in it.
We also found the Delta XT to be slightly more powerful too.
The BR-Pro is just a much better iron for shot shaping though. You can draw and fade this iron much easier than the Delta XT.
If you class yourself a better player then we would point you in the direction of the BR-Pro, especially if you like to work your ball both ways.
If you need a bit more help and want a little more bang for your buck, then we would recommend taking a closer look at the Delta XT.
Should you buy these irons?
Definitely given the generous price point.
These irons offer fantastic value for money.
We would highly recommend these irons for both better players and game improvers.
They tick all the right boxes in terms of looks, feel, forgiveness and overall performance.
Both irons are currently available for a reduced £429 at American Golf right now.
Better players will want to take a closer look at the BR-Pro, whereas those with mid handicaps will want to check out the Delta XT.
