Cobra unveils KING F7 iron
New tech offers more forgiveness, distance and control
Cobra has expanded its KING line in the new F7 irons, which the brand says is its most “groundbreaking and versatile to date”.
COBRA UNVEILS FIRST SINGLE LENGTH IRON
Complimenting Cobra’s first ever single length iron set, the KING F7 incorporates the brand’s TECFLO technology, which uses cavity construction to optimise performance.
A new PWRSHELL face uses a thinner face and sole structure, allowing for an enhanced sweet spot, more distance, and increased control.
By combining TECFLO with a new Thin, Optimised and Personalised (TOP) polymer medallion badge that is lighter than steel, Cobra could move the CG lower, for more forgiveness and optimum launch angles.
CNC milling improves groove structures for more spin and control, while Progressive Spin Technology gets optimum spin levels for each iron.
Long irons (3-5) have a full hollow design with PWRSHELL face inset for low CG, distance and forgiveness.
The mid irons (6-7) have a half hollow design with PWRSHELL for control and forgiveness, while the short irons (8-PW) use a traditional cavity back design with wedge spaced grooves for more spin and control.
COBRA BRINGS BACK KING OVERSIZED IRONS
A speciality wedge design offers more shot versatility and enhanced shot control.
The F7 women’s line has the same technology as the men’s range.
