This tour pro believes the battle against slow play is fake! Here's why
Mike Lorenzo-Vera has slammed the DP World Tour's approach to slow play, describing the battle as 'fake' as guilty parties sit on the Tournament Committee.
Tour pro Mike Lorenzo-Vera caught the headlines last week when he moaned about pace of play.
It was all the more hilarious as the French pro was complaining in real time, posting his thoughts on Twitter during his second round.
He was perhaps a tad agitated as he was heading for a missed cut at the BMW International Open in Germany on the DP World Tour.

Lorenzo-Vera, 38, posted a 12-over 84. Later, he got involved in a discussion with David Howell on social media.
Howell chairs the Tournament Committee. It is made up of fellow players such as Edoardo Molinari, Eddie Pepperell, Ryan Fox and Nicolas Colsaerts.
Lorenzo-Vera has told Ben Parsons of bunkered he believes guilty parties sit on that board. He said the fight against slow play is fake.

Lorenzo-Vera was speaking ahead of the Betfred British Masters at The Belfry, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.
Faldo, 65, also had some strong opinions in his pre-tournament news conference.
The Hall of Famer claimed he doesn't think LIV Golf will survive as 'nobody's interested' and appears to believe the team concept is a sham.
He also told the media they should be grateful for players like Rory McIlroy.
