How much Dustin Johnson and other players won at the Saudi International
Check out how much money was up for grabs in the controversial Saudi International on the European Tour
Dustin Johnson walked away with a cool $583,330 for landing his second Saudi International title in three years today, a victory that marks his ninth on the European Tour.
Johnson, 36, has now won three of his last eight worldwide tournaments and much to the dismay of the rest of his peers watching on, the American did not even bring his A-game to Royal Greens Golf & Country Club this week, despite shooting a 15-under par winning total.
In fact, we're not entirely sure it was his B-game, especially on the greens anyway.

The Saudi International has come under a lot of fire since its inauguration in 2019, particularly surrounding its dubious human rights records.
There has also been some controversy over the amount of money that has been handed out just to bring some of the world's best players over from the PGA Tour to compete in this tournament as Saudi Arabia looks to grow its presence in the sport.
Its growth becomes even more apparent when you see 18-time record major champion Jack Nicklaus currently in the process of designing a new golf course in Saudi Arabia.

Controversies aside, however, Johnson loves this tournament and has now gone 1-2-1 in three starts in Saudi Arabia.
"I don't get to play around the world as much as I'd like to and its definitely nice to get a win not on my Tour," said Johnson, who won his first Masters title in November.
"After Augusta to get my first win, the game's still in really good form and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year."
Here's how much all the players made at the Saudi International today, with Johnson walking away with more than half a million dollars in his back pocket. Oh yeah, and one very hefty appearance fee no doubt.
