Close House to host 2023 International Series England Qualifier
International Series England qualifier takes place at Close House on June 27.
Close House, the most premier golfing destination in the North-East of England, continue their support of professional golf events with an International Series England qualifier in June, ahead of hosting the main event in August; which will boast an impressive $2,000,000 prize fund.
The qualifier will take place on Tuesday June 27, with players set to take on the challenge of the impressive Colt Course from the championship tees. Entries for the qualifier are open to all amateurs and professionals, with the Asian Tour reserving six available spots for the August event.
“We’re proud to be hosting the International Series England later in August and are looking forward to welcoming the Tour for what is set to be a memorable tournament,” comments Jonathan Lupton, Managing Director at Close House.
“I encourage any amateur or professional who is seeking an elevated tour experience to play in the qualifier, for a special chance to play this level of event on English soil.
“This is a great opportunity to compete in an event that now sits firmly on the strong Asian Tour circuit, amongst some golfing greats.”
Close House are no strangers to hosting best-in-class professional events, as recent hosts of the successful 2017 and 2020 British Masters.
The Colt Course provides an unrivalled challenge to golfers, requiring your attention on every turn – the perfect setting for championship level golf to unfold.

The International Series England made its debut in Northumberland last year, and marked the first time the Asian Tour has staged an event in the United Kingdom.
This year, the event looks to develop further and provide a unique stage for the next generation of stars to take their golf to higher levels, providing a pathway to compete in the LIV Golf League.
Entry into the qualifier is £125, with a limit of 144 players within the field – including a minimum of 20 amateur places.
