Brooks Koepka: in the bag of the 2019 US PGA champion
Brooks Koepka becomes the first ever player to win his first four majors within two years...
Brooks Koepka entered his name into the record books at the US PGA Championship on Sunday by becoming the first player to win his first four majors within the space of two years.
Koepka may have stumbled home with a 74 but he held on for a two-stroke victory over Dustin Johnson as he successfully defended his Wanamaker Trophy.
The big-hitting American moves back to World No.1 with his fourth major title in his last eight major starts.
Koepka becomes the 11th player to win four majors before his 30th birthday, which falls in May 2020, and he also becomes the first player since Hal Sutton in 1983 to go wire-to-wire in the US PGA Championship.

He also joins Tiger Woods as the only other player to successfully defend the US PGA Championship, a feat Woods achieved in 2007.
Koepka relied on his typical power hitting off the tee with his new TaylorMade M5 driver (313 yards) and the precision of his Mizuno JPX 919 Tour irons, ranking first in greens in regulation for the week (73.61%).
He ranked first in strokes-gained tee-to-green (17.354) and strokes-gained total (18.502).
Koepka is still a free agent in the golf equipment world - how long that lasts given his current major form remains to be seen.
