Ticket prices for a grounds pass to the US PGA have shot up for the weekend following news Scottie Scheffler got arrested prior to his second-round tee time at Valhalla.
According to TickPick, ticket prices for a grounds pass to the 2024 US PGA Championship are now up 29% for Saturday and up 35% for Sunday.
Saturday’s 'get-in' price jumped from $195 to $251, while Sunday’s 'get-in' price has risen from $202 to $272.
These are all-in prices, and there are no added buyer fees on TickPick.
The ticket price update from the PGA Championship comes just hours after World No.1 Scottie Scheffler was shockingly arrested at the entrance of Valhalla Golf Club in the early hours of Friday.
Scheffler, 27, was detained after he misunderstood the traffic flow situation following a fatal collision.
Shocking images showed the World No.1 being frog-marched to the back of a police vehicle.
His arrest was captured in real time by an ESPN reporter.

Scheffler arrived back at Vallhalla with 60 minutes to spare before his second round tee time and he told reporters it was all a 'big misunderstanding' that put his life into 'perspective'.
When Scheffler headed back onto the course to begin his second round, a number of fans were seen lining the fairways with Scheffler mugshot and 'Free Scottie' T-shirts.
Scheffler, who is bidding to win a second straight major this week, is due to appear in court next Tuesday.
The full police report has now been obtained.
Scheffler was arrested by detective Gillis and, according to the report, had to be taken to hospital after suffering abrasions to his left wrist and knee.
