Who wins the Scottish Open?

The U.S. Open champion had an unfortunate break at the par-3 sixth hole. He was almost left with a hit and hope and couldn't splash the ball out of the bunker.
He's given himself an opportunity for par, though...
Matthew Fitzpatrick has made two birdies in his opening five holes as the wind looks like it's picking up a tad.
Collin Morikawa moves into the red numbers after making bogey to start.
He's now 1-under, the same score as Justin Thomas.
Will Zalatoris has also just moved his score to under par...
Hello you. Ben taking over again.
What a round that was from Cameron Tringale. A 9-under 61!
As I type this, Tiger Woods' location for his practice today has been revealed.
He's playing alongside Rory McIlroy and he's been absolutely mobbed by fans!
Hats off to Cameron Tringale! The American cards a stunning 61 to lead the Genesis Scottish Open on 9-under-par!
Tringale made nine birdies on Thursday with six of them coming in a stretch of consecutive holes from 10 to 15.
The 34-year-old has earned $16,981,931 since his PGA Tour debut in 2010, but he is yet to find his first victory...
Gary Woodland capped off a fantastic round of golf on Thursday with a superb chip-in on the 18th hole!
The former US Open champion made four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 3rd hole to card a 64.
He is within three shots of fellow American Cameron Tringale who is still out on the course at 9-under-par...
Sam Burns carded a strong 3-under-par 67 to begin his Genesis Scottish Open campaign in solid fashion.
The 25-year-old made three birdies and 15 pars at The Renaissance Club on Thursday. He is currently six shots behind leader Cameron Tringale.
Burns has won three times on the PGA Tour this season and he is ranked second in the FedEx Cup standings, only worse than World No.1 Scottie Scheffler...
Robert MacIntyre will certainly be the leading hope for Scotland at this year's Genesis Scottish Open.
The 25-year-old is playing with Min Woo Lee and Xander Schauffele on Thursday and he made a calm start with a birdie on hole 3.
Could he become the first Scottish winner of this event since Colin Montgomerie in 1999?
Cameron Tringale has never won on the PGA Tour, but this could all change at The Renaissance Club this week...
The American has made his sixth birdie in a row on the par-4 15th hole to reach 9-under-par for the day.
He has opened up a four-shot lead ahead of Mito Pereira and LIV Golf rebel Justin Harding.
Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood have teed off in the first round of the Genesis Scottish Open!
Thomas and Matsuyama found the middle of the fairway while the Englishman found the lefthand fescue on the par-4 1st hole.
Can Fleetwood win for the first time since 2019 on the DP World Tour at The Renaissance Club?
Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris and his U.S. Open nemesis Matt Fitzpatrick have just begun their rounds.
Fitzy receives a massive welcome but tugs his opening drive left. Morikawa is in play and so is Zalatoris...
Can someone have a word with Cameron Tringale?
He's just made it five birdies in a row after holing a putt from approximately 17 feet on No. 14.
He is now three shots clear at 8-under par.
Bonkers round so far.
Fine opening rounds from Rasmus Hojgaard with a 4-under 66 and Scotland's Ewen Ferguson with a 3-under 67.
Ferguson became a DP World Tour winner for the first time this season.
As I type this, Cameron Tringale has stretched his lead to three shots!
C. Tringale -7
M. Pereira -5
J. Harding -5 (65)
R. Hojgaard -4 (66)
G. Woodland -4
B. Wu -3
What is going on with Scottie Scheffler today?
Assuming that the weather is the same tomorrow, it's going to be quite a low cut.
He's just managed three putt from the front edge at No.8 and has dropped back to 3-over...
Bob MacIntyre, now outside the top 100 in the OWGR, tees off alongside Xander Schauffele and the defending champion here Min Woo Lee.
Schauffele opts for an iron to get things underway and finds the middle of the fairway. Australia's Lee goes for a driver and hits it dead straight.
MacIntyre hits a fade into the deep stuff wide left...
There are still 10 groups who are yet to get their rounds underway here in Scotland.
As I type this, Jordan Spieth absolutely middles one and finds the fairway with his drive at No.8 to surely set up a good opportunity for birdie to try and move back to 4-under.
Viktor Hovland, currently at 3-over, sees his effort for birdie trickle by in the group ahead of Spieth.
It's not been his day today, neither has it been Scottie Schefflers.
Justin Thomas is on the range warming up.
He's been as outspoken as ever about the situation regarding LIV Golf.
But he's trying not to let that distract him from his game this week.
He told the media yesterday the year is "flying by already".
He added: "Definitely haven't converted as many into wins as I would like but still showing a lot of positive improvements and signs, so I just feel like just trying to stay patient and keep plugging at it and hopefully let some good stuff happen."
American Cameron Tringale moves to 6-under par and takes the outright lead from Mito Pereira, Rasmus Hojgaard and Justin Harding, who are all at 5-under.

Ben here taking over once again.
LIV Golf player Justin Harding, a late entry to the field here, has taken the clubhouse lead after shooting a 5-under round of 65 at The Renaissance Club.
As I type this, the U.S. Open champion winner Matt Fitzpatrick arrives on the range.
He will tee off at 1.15pm BST.
Check out the current leaderboard on day one of the Genesis Scottish Open...
- 5 J Harding (F)
-4 J Spieth, R Hojgaard, G Pereira, C Tringale
-3 C Smith, G Woodland, R Palmer, E Ferguson, B Wu
-2 S Burns, T Hatton, J Rose + others
+2 S Scheffler
+4 V Hovland
Ewen Ferguson is currently leading the Scottish charge at The Renaissance Club on Thursday!
With birdies on the 15th, 16th, 3rd and 5th holes, the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters champion is one shot off the lead on 4-under-par.
The 26-year-old will be hoping for a top finish if he is to qualify for next week's Open Championship.
Check out the tutorial we did with Ewen back in May at the Betfred British Masters.
My word, Viktor Hovland is one of us!
In the middle of the 4th fairway, his 13th hole of the day, the young Norwegian has stone-cold shanked his second shot into deep rough.
The Sky Sports commentary team couldn't believe it and nor can we! Hovland is currently 1-over-par and he has already made four bogeys.
For his third shot next to some small trees, Hovland went straight underneath his ball. He eventually found the green with his fourth shot.
In his 16 starts on the PGA Tour this season, the 24-year-old has made just four top-10s...

Well, well, well. Justin Harding is now out in front on his own at the Genesis Scottish Open!
After making his fifth birdie of the day on the par-5 16th hole, the South African moved to 5-under for the day!
Much like Ian Poulter, Branden Grace and Adrian Otaegui, Harding had his appeal to the DP World Tour stayed which meant he was reinstated in the tournament.
He had originally been suspended from the event at The Renaissance Club for taking part in the LIV Golf Invitational Series...
Viktor Hovland drops another shot. That's three bogeys in his last five holes for the Norwegian.
He's got seven holes left to try and get his round back on track as he's now 2-over par.
