Who is Tommy Fleetwood's caddie? Meet Ian Finnis
Tommy Fleetwood caddie: Who is Tommy Fleetwood's caddie? Here is everything you need to know about the PGA Tour star's looper Ian Finnis.
Tommy Fleetwood is one of the most recognisable faces in world golf, and his caddie, Ian Finnis, is hard to miss, too.
Standing at a staggering six feet seven inches, Finnis is almost a foot taller than Fleetwood.
However, despite their height difference, the pair have forged one of the strongest player-caddie relationships in golf.
Finnis has been on the bag for Fleetwood since 2016 and was part of a big backroom reshuffle that happened during a period of turbulence in Fleetwood's early career.
At the beginning of 2016, Fleetwood had missed five cuts in seven events while also struggling heavily with his driver.
In an attempt to cure his issues, Fleetwood turned to Finnis, a close friend of his, with the pair having worked on their games together as amateurs.
At the time, Finnis was the assistant pro at Formby Golf Club in Southport and initially only took the role on a temporary basis; however, fast forward eight years, and the partnership is going from strength to strength.
The pair have won six DP World Tour events together, with their most recent victory coming at the Dubai Invitational in 2024.
They have also recorded eight top-tens at major championships, including two runner-up finishes at the US Open in 2018 and The Open in 2019.
Finnis also caddied for Fleetwood during all three of his Ryder Cup appearances, with the pair boasting a remarkable record of 7-3-2.
Having struggled with an infection Finnis was recently forced to take a break from caddying for Fleetwood to undergo heart surgery.
His time away from the course began just before The Masters this year, but he hopes to be back in action in July.
When he's not on the golf course, Finnis is a passionate Everton FC fan. He is also married to former Everton and England women's goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis.
