Which players earned their PGA Tour cards for 2025?

Some familiar names were among the 30 players who earned their PGA Tour cards for 2025 at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

The big-hitting 20-year-old South African, Aldrich Potgieter, has grabbed his first card. 

Harry Higgs will also be making his return to the circuit.

You might remember Higgs was the player who rubbed PGA Tour officials the wrong way when he whipped his shirt off a few years ago to celebrate a putt dropping at the raucous WM Phoenix Open. 

The 2024-2025 season begins in January.

Elsewhere, the highly-rated youngster, Karl Vilips, also nabbed a card. 

Vilips finished 10th in the PGA Tour University Ranking.

He also roomed with Michael Thorbjornsen while at Stanford University.

Vilips has already played in a U.S. Open. 

The former No.1 ranked amateur in the world, Branden Thornberry, won the Korn Ferry Tour Championship outright by one stroke.  

In the process, he leapt up the standings from 51st to 16th to secure his first Tour card. 

"It's a weird thing, because it's getting my first pro win as well as getting to the PGA Tour," he said.  

"I worked so hard to get here. A lot of stuff hasn't quite gone my way over the last five years or so. 

"To finally have something go my way and to play well at the right time is just amazing."
