Tiger Woods told new video clip with daughter Sam is 'priceless'

Tiger Woods' teenage daughter Samantha added more silverware to the family trophy cabinet over the weekend. 

Samantha, 17, helped The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, to their first state soccer title with a 1-0 victory over Episcopal School. 

According to the Palm Beach Post, Emma Bartoli scored the game's only goal in the 31st minute. 

Video footage showed Woods wildly celebrating with other parents in the bleachers when the full-time whistle blew.

And he gave his daughter - who plays as a central defender - a massive bearhug in the immediate aftermath of victory. 

"Nice to see the big cat doing what normal parents do with their kids," one X user wrote. "Outstanding."

Another added: "What a beautiful moment."

Samantha's brother, Charlie, 16, wasn't there to support his sister as he was competing in the Dustin Johnson World Junior. 

Unfortunately, Charlie didn't have a great week as he carded rounds of 77 and 82 to miss the cut by eight strokes.

Why doesn't Sam play golf?

Woods revealed last May that his daughter never wanted to take up the sport because she had a 'negative connotation' to golf. 

"At that time, growing up, when she was growing up, golf took daddy away from her," Woods said. 

"I had to pack and I had to leave and I'd be gone for weeks so we've developed our own relationship [and] our own rapport that's outside of golf.

"Meanwhile, my son and I we do all things golf related so it's very different."

When will Tiger Woods play golf again?

Woods has not confirmed when he plans to return the PGA Tour. 

He intended to play at the Genesis Invitational in February - of which he serves as tournament host - but withdrew following the death of his mother Kultida.

Although Woods has played TGL since, he has not revealed if we will see him in action before the major season begins. 

There was speculation that he could play next week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational but he is not in the field at Bay Hill. 

However, there is a good chance that Woods tees it up at the 2025 Players Championship in two weeks' time.
