PGA Tour star Xander Schauffele parts ways with adidas Golf
Xander Schauffele's time wearing adidas Golf footwear and apparel appears to be over after the PGA Tour star was spotted in Hawaii wearing Descente product.
Xander Schauffele's time as an adidas Golf apparel and footwear ambassador appears to be over.
The 30-year-old American is currently in Hawaii ahead of his first start on the PGA Tour in 2024 at The Sentry.
Schauffele was spotted wearing Descente clothing in Kapalua. Descente, if you didn't know, is a premium Japanese brand.
The company started out as a ski-focussed brand in the 1930s but over the years has made its way into speed skating and golf.
Other golfers on their roster include former Masters champion Danny Willett. LPGA Tour star Danielle Kang also wears their product.
Schauffele signed with adidas Golf in 2018, the same time he was announced as a Callaway staff player after he was voted the PGA Tour's rookie of the year following his breakout season.
In recent appearances Schauffele has been wearing a Callaway cap.
To date, Schauffele has won seven times on Tour, amassing $38,910,322 in official prize money. His last victory came at the 2022 Scottish Open.
Schauffele is not the only golfer wearing different product in Hawaii.

Former World No.1 Jason Day has become the first PGA Tour player to represent Malbon after his $100m deal with Nike came to an end.
Day's decision to part ways with Nike after seven years added fuel to the rumours the swoosh could soon be severing ties with Tiger Woods.
As for adidas Golf, they still boast an impressive roster of golf talent wearing the three stripes.
That includes the likes of two-time major champion Collin Morikawa and Rose Zhang.
In the summer, rising European golf superstar Ludvig Aberg was signed to a multi-year agreement with adidas.
GolfMagic has contacted adidas Golf for comment.
And putting the pieces together here, this picture from earlier today is him inside the Kapalua clubhouse with a Descente tee shirt. All but confirms it.
Danny Willett and Danielle Kang are the 2 other golfers I can find that wear the brand. https://t.co/V34IS88oiJ pic.twitter.com/TwWPrX00Lm— Xander Schauffele Legion (@XanderLegion) January 2, 2024
