PGA Tour caddie reveals how much money they really make
PGA Tour caddie Bryan Kopsick has revealed just how much money he really made on the North American circuit over the last 12 months.
Have you ever wondered how much money PGA Tour caddies really make?
Well, Bryan Kopsick, who loops for current member Ben Silverman, has revealed his 2024 earnings.
Kopsick explained on X that during 2024 Silverman played 24 events and made $1,262,599 in official prize money.
He received an 8 per cent cut, which amounts to $101,007.92.
On top of that, he received a base salary of $2,000 a week, taking him to $149,007.92.
But he's got to deduct travel expenses, which he forecasts in the region of $50,000.
So, that leaves him just under $100,000 in earnings for 2024.
Kopsick also explained that he's frequently made 16-hour round trips to Monday qualifiers.
Some of those Monday qualifiers are reportedly going to be axed at the start of 2026, according to the changes that are being planned.
"It's tough but we don't do it for the money," Kopsick wrote on X.
"It's extremely rewarding to try and help someone succeed at what they’re truly good at."
