LIV Golf star faces major health setback
Former PGA Tour star Anthony Kim - who plays in the LIV Golf League as a wildcard - has revealed he has a blood clot in his leg.

LIV Golf pro Anthony Kim has announced he has a blood clot in his leg.
Kim revealed the news in a social media post on 25 February.
The 39-year-old golfer wrote on Instagram that he started feeling unwell two weeks before LIV Golf's 2025 curtain-raiser in Riyadh.
Kim finished in a tie for 49th in Saudi Arabia after shooting rounds of 71, 73 and 72.
He also played two weeks ago in Australia and finished 51st in the 54-man field.
"Long story but two weeks ago before Riyadh [I] started feeling bad," he wrote alongside an image featuring a hospital bracelet on his wrist.
"[I] couldn't figure out what was wrong. Well, [I] found out yesterday it was a blood clot in my leg."

It's not immediately clear how this will affect Kim's playing schedule going forward.
LIV Golf's third event of 2025 will be played in Hong Kong next week over 7-9 March.
Kim returned to professional golf in 2024 with the PIF-backed breakaway tour after a 12-year hiatus.
During his pomp, he won three times on the PGA Tour.

His last victory on the North American circuit was the 2010 Shell Houston Open.
Kim's disappeared from professional golf after withdrawing from the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship.
He had surgery on his Achilles then went dark, prompting wild speculation as to his whereabouts.
Kim confirmed last year that he did in fact sign an insurance policy, although he said he wasn't legally allowed to offer any more details.
Some reports suggested that it was worth between $10-20m.
At the conclusion of last season, Kim told the bunkered podcast that he hopes to compete in some major championships this year.
He also wants to win again.
"I know a lot of people have probably seen my last year and don't think that's possible," he told the pod, referencing finishing in LIV's relegation zone.
"But I think it's going to happen. I 100 per cent believe in myself, and I think it’s just a matter of time."

This is the second eyebrow-raising post from Kim within the space of a week.
Five days ago Kim celebrated two years of sobriety.
Kim detailed his past addictions with another lengthy social media post.
In that post, Kim suggested that he was using drugs while playing in major championships and at times considered taking his life.
