American professional golfer and former Open champion Brian Harman has an extremely experienced caddie on the bag.

That would be Scott Tway, who has more than 25 years' experience as a full-time caddie on the PGA Tour

Tway linked up with Harman in 2013 and the duo are now one of the most recognised partnerships in the men's game.

At this point they have built up such a deep trust in each other that they describe their relationship as that of an 'old married couple'.

"He's seen me at my worst, and I've seen him at his worst," Tway previously said.

Although Scott wasn't on the bag when Harman won his first PGA Tour title at the John Deere Classic in 2014, he was carrying Harman's clubs at the 2023 Open Championship.

Harman claimed his maiden major championship title at Royal Liverpool.

Harman won the claret jug in emphatic style, winning by a margin of six strokes over Jason Day, Jon Rahm, Tom Kim and Sepp Straka.

More information about Scott Tway

Golf runs in the Tway family.

Scott Tway's older brother, Bob, famously won the 1986 PGA Championship with a hole-out bunker shot to defeat Greg Norman

Bob's son Kevin is also a professional golfer and has a PGA Tour victory to his name.

Before caddying for Harman, Scott also caddied for his brother Bob.

He was also the caddie for experienced Tour players Scott Verplank and Chris Kirk.

Tway caddied for Harman at his first Ryder Cup in 2023. He did not struggle as a rookie.

He secured two points for Zach Johnson's U.S. side but the team were comfortably beaten at Marco Simone Golf & country Club in Rome.

When he's not caddying for Harman, Scott can be found watching UFC, baseball and the NFL.

His favourite team are the Jacksonville Jaguars.
