Viewers of The Open incandescent with rage over the same thing
Golf fans were quick to vent their fury at the colours used on the leaderboards in coverage for The Open at Royal Troon on day one of the major.
Television viewers of The Open were up in arms about the same thing on the first day of the major at Royal Troon.
Why?
Well, the television crew decided to make a subtle change to how the scores were shown.
Traditionally, a yellow background is used for when a player records an eagle, red for a birdie and a par is left without a colour.

Bogeys are usually light blue.
On the opening day, eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out how the blue background was used for a par and black was used for a bogey.
No Laying Up were also upset with the change. The decision was described as 'unhinged'.
"I don't wanna be too dramatic here, but blue squares for pars is unhinged behavior," they wrote.
Here's how some others reacted...
"It's the scorecard equivalent of having blue flags front, red flags middle and white flags back. WE HAVE A SYSTEM IN PLACE, PEOPLE."
