STROP ALERT! Cameron Smith goes crazy after poor bunker shot at LIV Golf Jeddah
Cameron Smith let his temper get the better of him during the second round of LIV Golf Jeddah with an $18m bonus on the line.
Cameron Smith isn't usually one to let his temper get the better of him on the golf course.
But that's exactly what happened to the 2022 Open Champion during the second round of LIV Golf Jeddah.
Smith is trying to become the 2023 individual champion in the breakaway tour's second campaign.
If Smith is to be successful, he would scoop an $18m bonus. He had already picked up a whopping $13,755,417 in on-course earnings with LIV this year before teeing it up in King Abdullah Economic City.
And he was reportedly was paid in excess of $120m when he put pen to paper with the rival league last year so we shouldn't feel too bad for the Aussie.
Still, Smith wants to be LIV's champion and he displayed his passion after hitting what he considered to be a dismal fairway bunker shot.
The moment transpired on the fourth hole. The clip was captured by @flushingit and re-shared on X.
He didn't like this shot at all. Not one bit.

Smith went on to make bogey on the hole and ultimately carded a second round of 2-under 68. It left him 10 shots behind 36-hole leader Brooks Koepka heading into the final round.
Koepka's brother Chase is likely to be relegated from LIV Golf and the five-time major champion offered an unsurprising response when he was asked about that.
As for Smith, he spent the earlier part of this week complaining about the official decision to deny LIV Golf world ranking points.
