Phil Mickelson has inked an apparel deal for his LIV Golf team after losing a bet to a YouTuber.

Mickelson confirmed on 20 January that Primo will be the official apparel sponsor of the HyFlyers.

Lefty and his teammates Brendan Steele, Cameron Tringale and Andy Ogletree will be wearing all of their product line for the 2025 campaign.

That includes joggers, traditional pants, quarter zips, vests and traditional polos.

LIV's third full season begins on 6 February in Riyadh.

The partnership came about after Mickelson lot a match to YouTuber and Primo ambassador Grant Horvat last summer.

Mickeslon's forfeit was to wear a pair of joggers at the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon.

"I was challenged to wear the Primo joggers at the Open Championship after losing a match against Primo ambassador Grant Horvat," said Mickelson.

"It turned out to be a game-changer. As I said, I wasn't sure I could pull off wearing the cool, fashionable joggers but I have fallen in love with them and the rest of Primo's outstanding product line.

"I'm excited the HyFlyers will be rocking them during our season."

Mickelson's LIV team are not the only ones to have signed new apparel deals.

Reebok have re-entered the golf space and will kit out Bryson DeChambeau and his Crushers.

The brand and DeChambeau have signed a multi-year agreement.

Elsewhere, Cameron Smith and Ripper have signed with Greyson Clothiers

And Greyson also have joined forced with Jon Rahm's Legion XIII.

Earlier in the month, Henrik Stenson was spotted wearing a Majesticks polo featuring a Castore logo.
