LIV Golf player makes surprising announcement
LIV Golf League player Kevin Na has confirmed he has split with his caddie Kenny Harms after 16 years.
LIV Golf player Kevin Na has split with his caddie Kenny Harms.
Na confirmed the news in an emotional post on social media.
The golfer had worked with Harms for 16 years and they endured considerable success together.
Harms was on Na's bag for all five of his PGA Tour victories between 2011-2021.
Na described Harms 'like a brother' as he outlined his reasons for the split.
"It has been an incredible run," Na wrote.
"16 years together, you have always been there for me on and off the golf course.
"We have shared many amazing moments and also had some hardships along the way.
"I can't thank you enough for the trust and support you have given me.
"It's been extremely difficult to say goodbye. You will always be a brother to me."
Na, 40, has not confirmed who will take over from Harms.
LIV have almost finished their third campaign.
There are only two events left this year, in Chicago and Dallas, before the league takes a five-month break.
Na has struggled for form since he left the PGA Tour in 2022.
He has posted only two top-10 finishes on the breakaway tour in 2024.
And he has never finished higher than a tie for sixth in LIV events.
He made headlines in February when he suffered a complete meltdown in Adelaide and was filmed 'going nuts' in an explosive F-bomb rant after getting stuck in the sand.
Remind yourself of that moment here.
His Iron Heads side are languishing in bottom place on nine points.
In the individual standings, Na is 32nd out of 54 players.
Players who finish 49th and below will be relegated at the end of the season, although Na is exempt from being booted out of the league as he is a captain.
