Adrian Meronk says he's eyeing up a spot in the U.S. Open after landing his first LIV Golf title in Saudi Arabia.
The Polish golfer entered the final round at Riyadh Golf Club with a two-shot lead over Sebastian Munoz.
The 31-year-old stretched that advantage to four but saw it completely wiped out after making back-to-back bogeys at the 11th and 12th holes.
In the end, Meronk's 54-hole score of 17-under was enough to see the former DP World Tour pro win by two strokes over the Colombian golfer.
"That's going to be on my goal list for sure," Meronk told LIV's Dom Boulet when asked about the news the U.S. Open has become the first major to offer a direct pathway to LIV players.
The UGSA said earlier in the week that the top player from the Saudi Arabia-backed tour, who is not otherwise exempt, will directly earn a place in the field at Oakmont Country Club this June.
This number will increase to three in 2026.
Additionally, the top 10 players in the LIV Golf standings on 7 April will also be exempt from local qualifying and instead go straight into the final 36-hole qualifying.
The 2025 U.S. Open will be played over 12-15 June.
Meronk added: "I'm going to focus on that and just keep going. Keep playing good golf and hopefully I can get in that spot."
Elsewhere, reigning LIV champion Jon Rahm carded his third consecutive round of 5-under 67 to finish in a tie for second with Munoz.
Rahm's Legion XIII side won the team element on 50-under, 11 shots clear of Cameron Smith's Ripper. Bubba Watson's RangeGoats finished third.
Sergio Garcia, Bryson DeChambeau and Tyrrell Hatton also finished inside the top-10.
LIV Golf's newest recruit, Tom Mckibbin, finished in a tie for 15th on 10-under.
