Sky Sports forced to apologise after commentator's wild F-bomb at BMW PGA!
Sky Sports Golf's Ewen Murray was forced to apologise to viewers after Paul McGinley dropped an F-bomb while thinking his mic was off during second round coverage of the BMW PGA.
Paul McGinley was left red-faced during Sky Sports Golf's live second round coverage of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth after he dropped an F-bomb while thinking his microphone was turned off.
Unfortunately for McGinley, it was not!
The Sky Sports Golf coverage at the time had just turned to an introductory clip previewing the star-studded second round three-ball of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and defending champion Ryan Fox.
As the trailer played with some inspirational music, McGinley was caught on the hot mic saying: “Yeah, Coltart didn’t help, f***ing hell."

Sky Sports Golf's long-time lead commentator Ewen Murray had to apologise to viewers as soon as the trailer ended.
'Sorry for any bad language you heard there,' said Murray, as the camera panned to McIlroy, Rose and Fox standing on the 1st tee.
Sky Sports Golf commentator Andrew Coltart was also sat alongside McGinley at the time.
While it's unknown as to what exactly McGinley was referring to, a conversation they were having several minutes earlier was about McGinley having tied the 36-hole lead at the BMW PGA in 2008.
Only he would go on and endure a disappointing weekend at Wentworth.
The conversation came up after England's Matt Baldwin matched McGinley's 36-hole feat at the BMW PGA earlier this afternoon.
When McGinley got to 13-under par for 36 holes at the 2008 BMW PGA, he went on to shoot a dismal 79 in the third round.
He then closed with a 72 to finish T10.
We can only assume there was some ribbing going on in the Sky Sports studio courtesy of Coltart as they reflected on McGinley's efforts back in 2008.
Baldwin will be looking to do much better than McGinley as he takes the lead into this weekend at the BMW PGA.
The Englishman won his maiden DP World Tour title at the SDC Championship last season.
Despite the untimely hot mic, golf fans appeared to find it hilarious on social media.
McGinley won four times on the European Tour, and Coltart won twice.
Both have also represented Europe at the Ryder Cup.
