Andy Murray sparks war among golf fans at BMW PGA Championship
Former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray was the biggest name to play at the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am but his appearance rubbed golf fans the wrong way.
Former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray sparked a war of words among golf fans on Wednesday.
Why, exactly, did the former tennis ace cause a massive stir?
Well, the Scot forgot one of the game's most cherished rules as he made his way round Wentworth in Surrey when he took part in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am.

Sir Andy didn't tuck his shirt in.
And boy, did some golf fans tear into the 37-year-old, who called time on his career at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
"Get ya shirt tucked in ya scruffy git," one X user wrote.
Another demanded: "Etiquette, please!"
Others were more sympathetic to the three-time major winner: "Imagine being upset about Andy Murray not having his shirt tucked in to play golf. Jesus wept."
Murray, unsurprisingly, drew huge crowds on Wednesday morning.
Playing off a handicap of seven, the Scot was pitted alongside former England cricket legend Jimmy Anderson, 2023 European Ryder Cup hero Robert MacIntyre and Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke.
Murray's swing looked good, although he was quick to confess he was catching some tee shots a bit thin.
Murray also took the time to greet Rory McIlroy before his round.
Alluding to McIlroy's heartbreaking finish at the 2024 U.S. Open and the Olympic games, Murray told the Northern Irishman: "Great job this year.
"[It's been] tough but you've done super well."
