Andalucia Masters prize money: Check out how much Julien Guerrier won for claiming his maiden victory on the DP World Tour.
Frenchman Julien Guerrier ended a long wait for a maiden DP World Tour title at the 2024 Andalucia Masters.
The 39-year-old prevailed in a remarkable, nine-hole playoff over Spain's Jorge Campillo.
Over the course of the final round, the lead exchanged hands several times.
Guerrier forced extra holes when he landed a 16ft par putt at the 72nd after Campillo made a sloppy bogey.
Home favourite Campillo then spurned glorious chances to win on the third, seventh and eighth extra holes.
A par on the ninth extra hole, though, was enough to secure an overwhelmingly emotional victory for Guerrier.
"I'm feeling great and I can't believe I made it," he said. "Because it's been a really long time I've been waiting for it.
"We work really hard every week for that but we have to stay patient.
"I know Jorge Campillo is a great player but today it goes my way so I'm very happy."
Guerrier also won a huge amount of prize money.
The total prize fund of the 2024 Andalucia Masters was €3m.
That meant Guerrier took home a winner's cheque for €509,516.60.
