LIV Golf's Brooks Koepka OUT of US Ryder Cup automatics | Will he get a pick?!
Will Brooks Koepka be one of Zach Johnson's six picks in the US Ryder Cup team?
Brooks Koepka has been removed from the automatic positions in the US Ryder Cup team as a result of the performances of Xander Schauffele and Max Homa at the BMW Championship.
LIV Golf's Koepka found himself in fifth place in the standings ahead of this week's final counting event on the PGA Tour.
Only the top six automatically qualify for a place in the US Ryder Cup team.
Schauffele and Homa have now demoted Koepka to seventh in the rankings, which means he must now rely on Zach Johnson selecting him as one of his six picks.
Schauffele needed to finish solo ninth or better and Homa had to finish solo 10th or better at the BMW Championship.
That all happened, by the smallest of margins.
Schauffele finished in a tie for eighth, and Homa came tied fifth.

It now remains to be seen whether Johnson will pick Koepka in his team.
Johnson will make his six picks following the conclusion of the Tour Championship next weekend.
Given Koepka won his third US PGA earlier this season and finished runner-up at The Masters, you would think there is every chance he will be boarding the plane to Rome.
However, Johnson revealed earlier this week his six captain's picks will "probably be PGA Tour players but not necessarily".
LIV Golf's Bryson DeChambeau confirmed he has had "zero communication" with Johnson despite shooting 58 to win LIV Golf Greenbrier earlier this month.
Johnson has reportedly said nothing to DeChambeau since the week of his T4 at the US PGA.
