Motocaddy Pro 3000 Rangefinder Review - Expensive, but accurate and practical
The Motocaddy Pro 3000 Golf Rangefinder is one of the best in the market for distance-measuring range, though its lofty price might put off some buyers.
The Motocaddy Pro 3000 Laser is a fantastic rangefinder that is easy to use and can quickly improve your performance on the course.
The device costs £269.99 which is a premium price, but it is justified by Motocaddy's newest investment into golf rangefinders and distance-tracking products, making this one of the best golf rangefinders.
Weighing just 196 grams, it is both very light and easy to use, as it can fit perfectly into the palm of your hand. The Motocaddy Pro 3000 Laser also has a slope feature but this must be disabled if you are using the device during a competition.
GolfMagic Equipment Editor Alex Lodge looked at all of these features and much more when he took this golf rangefinder out on the course to assess its performance.

Motocaddy Pro 3000 - Key Features
The device can pick up targets up to 1300 yards away and a flag up to 450 yards away. It comes with a 24-month warranty so this is a durable product as well as a high-quality one.
The weight and size of this golf rangefinder were very impressive and it is also made with weatherproof and lightweight materials with comfortable textured rubber grips.
Motocaddy Pro 3000 - Performance
We were pleased with the accuracy of the readings we took and this was a result of the impressive distance range that this golf rangefinder can pick up.
Although £269.99 is still an expensive price tag, it is cheaper than the Shot Scope Pro LX+ and the Bushnell Tour V5 golf rangefinders. It possesses similar qualities at a more affordable price.
We were also pleased with the accuracy of this golf rangefinder. The yardages are accurate to 0.5 yards and as with many other golf rangefinders, it comes with a slope compensation feature.
However, one disadvantage we found with the slope compensation feature was its inconsistency compared to other golf rangefinders. Nonetheless, it is still a comfy design.

Should you buy the Motocaddy Pro 3000?
We had many enjoyable experiences with the Motocaddy Pro 3000 golf rangefinder on the golf course. It is quick and easy to use and we were pleased with its accuracy as well.
Of all the golf rangefinders we have used, the Motocaddy Pro 3000 was the best for distance measuring range. Its ability to pick up targets up to 1300 yards away shows the technology and work that has gone into this product.
Although it isn't as expensive as some other golf rangefinders, the price tag could still put people off while the Blue Tee Golf Series 3 Max and the GolfBuddy Laser Lite are available and more affordable.
It has a compact design and you could argue it is also the best golf rangefinder to use in tough weather conditions. It is reliable and if you need a new device in the winter, this could be the one.
