Which players have been chosen for the 2022 Presidents Cup?
Captains Davis Love III and Trevor Immelman have made their picks for the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow which begins on September 20.
The Presidents Cup has a very different complexion this year with many players who were eligible to play making the controversial switch to LIV Golf.
Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann certainly made a sizeable dent in the plans of International captain Trevor Immelman by moving to the Saudi-backed series. Both players had been confirmed on the rest of the world's side before their removal.
Smith would've no doubt been the star player having just won his maiden major title at The 150th Open Championship, impressively chasing down Rory McIlroy to lift the Claret Jug at St Andrews.
LIV Golf commissioner Greg Norman has also acquired Marc Leishman and Anirban Lahiri, two players who could've bolstered a side which regularly loses to the Americans anyway in what is a fairly one-sided fixture.
Adam Scott is the veteran of the team. He has played in nine Presidents Cups which is twice as many as the next player Hideki Matsuyama who has made four appearances.
Neither have ever tasted victory, but they will be joined by a number of impressive rookies such as Corey Conners and Tom Kim in an attempt to turn the tide in North Carolina.

Here is the International side captained by Trevor Immelman:
Adam Scott
Hideki Matsuyama
Sungjae Im
Mito Pereira
Corey Conners
Joohyung 'Tom' Kim
Si Woo Kim (Captain's pick)
Cam Davis (Captain's pick)
Christiaan Bezuidenhout (Captain's pick)
Taylor Pendrith (Captain's pick)
K. H. Lee (Captain's pick)
Sebastian Munoz (Captain's pick)
On the American side, Love III has an abundance of talent to choose from. Despite the likes of Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson moving to LIV, the team hasn't waivered in quality.
They have the World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, the US PGA champion Justin Thomas and Cameron Young, one of the standout players of 2022, had to rely on a Captain's pick.
In 2019, Tiger Woods was a playing captain for USA and although they trailed the Internationals 10-8 heading into the singles, the 15-time major champion's side won 16-14 at Royal Melbourne.
Woods beat Abraham Ancer in the first singles match on the final day and he finished the week as the only player to avoid defeat in any match.
Young, Max Homa, Sam Burns, Kevin Kisner and Billy Horschel all missed out on the Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in 2021. If anything, this represents the depth and the dominance of American talent in world golf.
