WATCH: Beau Hossler kicks his club in EPIC meltdown at John Deere Classic
Beau Hossler was not happy with his shot during Thursday's first round of the John Deere Classic.
Safe to say, Beau Hossler was not happy with his second shot on the par-4 5th hole of TPC Deere Run on Thursday.
Hossler, 28, is in Silvis, Illinois this week for the PGA Tour's annual John Deere Classic.
The American is looking for his maiden PGA Tour victory after two top-10 finishes already this season.
However, he's also coming into the tournament after back-to-back missed cuts, first at the Travelers Championship and then again at last week's Rocket Mortgage Classic.
On Thursday, during the first round, he appeared to have been under control, shooting three straight birdies for a 3-under 33 at the turn after starting on the course's back nine.
But after a fourth birdie at the par-5 7th - his 11th hole of the day - things began to slip away.
At the par-4 4th, he made his first bogey of the round, and it seems the frustration might've carried over into the next hole.
Hossler striped is first shot 290 yards down the middle of the fairway at the par-4 5th. However, he failed to capitalize on the tee shot and hit his second shot into the left rough.
It resulted in an epic meltdown, where Hossler first tossed his club and then proceeded to kick at it on the ground.
The moment was then posted to Twitter.

Hossler recovered and was able to save par. He proceeded to make one more bogey on his back nine for a 2-under 69.
He was seven strokes back of leader Jonas Blixt after 18 holes.
