Tiger Woods' former girlfriend Erica Herman has now dropped her legal action against the golfer, according to a report.

Per the New York Post, the publication has stated that Herman has now withdrawn the October 2022 lawsuit she filed against a trust in Woods' name.

There was a hearing scheduled for later in August, but the Post claims to have seen a document filed on 29 June that shows she has withdrawn the action.

Herman was suing a trust in Woods' name, alleging the Hall of Fame golfer had violated an oral tenancy agreement.

In court documents previously filed, she argued she was duped using the 'oldest trick in the book'.

It was argued she was told to pack her backs and head to the airport for a short vacation, only to be told Woods was ending her relationship with her and that the locks to his Jupiter pad in Florida had been changed

Herman previously claimed she had an agreement with Woods, now 47, that she could live there for up to 11 years. She sued for $30m (£25m).

The golfer denied having any such arrangement. Herman's attorney also previously cast doubt as to the validity of her signature in the NDA.

Woods began dating Herman in 2017. She previously worked as a manager at his restaurant, The Woods Jupiter, before they began a relationship.

The pair were first seen as a couple at the Presidents Cup and it is believed they ended their relationship in 2022.

It was during this period that Herman was alleged to have signed an NDA with Woods.

Herman had been regularly seen in public with the iconic golfer over the last few years, including embracing Woods after he won the 2019 Masters.

She is said to have been crucial to Woods' recovery after his February 2021 car crash when he rolled his luxury SUV in the Los Angeles hills at high speed.

She previously wanted to have that NDA thrown out, but on 18 May a Florida judge ruled against having it nullified.

Herman wanted to use the Speak Out Act to have the NDA voided.

The Speak Out Act was signed into law in December 2022 to help victims of sexual harassment or assault in the workplace.

A judge took a dim view of Herman's claims, ruling the 38-year-old had not provided any evidence of sexual misconduct

The judge ruled:

"Herman has had the opportunity to provide factual specificity for any claim relating to sexual assault or sexual harassment, however, she has not done so."

Woods is currently recuperating from another surgery on his battered body.

He went under the knife again on 19 April after he hobbled out of the 2023 Masters.

Even though he has not played professional golf since the 87th Masters, Woods has still found the headlines.

The PGA Tour announced a stunning 'framework agreement' with their LIV Golf rival in June.

It was anticipated that Woods would have made a statement about the agreement, given how much water he has carried for the PGA Tour and their commissioner Jay Monahan

But Woods has not said a word. A statement, however, was posted on his social media accounts distancing himself from a document suggesting he was to give a speech to fellow PGA Tour members about their Saudi-backed rival.
