Report: LIV Golf raid PGA Tour once again...and land this rookie!
PGA Tour rookie and World No. 62 Dean Burmester has reportedly agreed to join Louis Oosthuizen's side in the LIV Golf League.
South Africa's Dean Burmester earned his maiden PGA Tour card last season, but now he's off to the LIV Golf League.
That is according to Tom Kershaw of The Times of London, who has stated that Burmester will be joining Louis Oosthuizen's Stinger GC team.
Burmester is the World No. 62. He earned his 2022/2023 PGA Tour card via the Korn Ferry Tour Finals and has already played eight events this season.
His highest finish came when he placed inside the top-5 at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Burmester has made seven cuts in his eight starts.

Burmester is a two-time DP World Tour winner. Those victories came at the Tenerife Open in May 2021 and the Tshwane Open in March 2017.
The 33-year-old's apparent switch to the breakaway tour means that LIV have now signed three players in the off-season.
One of the worst kept secrets was finally confirmed on Wednesday with the arrivals of Mito Pereira and Sebastian Munoz.
Unsurprisingly, Pereira, from Chile, and Colombian Munoz have joined Joaquin Niemann's Torque GC.
All three players were shown as extremely close friends in the Netflix documentary Full Swing.
Oosthuizen rotated his side for much of the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series.
Hennie du Plessis and Shaun Norris both had starts alongside the 2010 Open winner, Charl Scwartzel and Branden Grace.
Grace and Schwartzel were in the news recently when they joined Sergio Garcia in withdrawing from the DP World Tour v Liv Golf hearing.
No player has publicly commented on their decision to no longer fight their DP World Tour fines and suspensions.
LIV Golf have slowly been revealing all of their teams this week.
