WATCH: Did this golfer's driver fly into the water at TPC Sawgrass?
This golfer was playing his tee shot in horrific conditions at TPC Sawgrass and when his driver slipped out of his hands, it almost flew into the lake.
TPC Sawgrass is one of the most iconic golf courses in the world and the venue treated us to another amazing Players Championship in March.
The treacherous weather conditions forced a Monday finish and it was Cameron Smith who emerged as the winner and the benefactor of the largest winners purse in PGA Tour history.
When the wind is swirling in Florida and the rain is coming down, TPC Sawgrass can be a very hard golf course to navigate.
It is the home of the infamous par-3 17th hole which has claimed many balls belonging to some of the best players in the world, and sometimes, it claims golf clubs too.

This was almost the case for one golfer in the footage above who was taking his tee shot on the 18th tee box in pouring rain and harsh conditions.
The man swung down and hit his tee shot and as the ball stayed still on the floor, his long stick suddenly flew forwards and there was a moment of concern.
"Stay right," the player said as he pleaded with his driver to stay above ground and remain dry. Luckily, it appears that it did.
Around a course like TPC Sawgrass in such wet conditions, it is easy to lose a lot of balls and when you do this, the last thing you want to do is lose a club.
At least the man and his group could see the funny side of the tee shot. If you don't laugh, you'll cry is what you could say about this video.
