WATCH: Can you believe how HIGH Guido Migliozzi tees it with an iron?!
GolfMagic's Guido Migliozzi won the Belgian Knockout on Sunday, aided by magic shots like THIS...
GolfMagic blogger Guido Migliozzi won for the second time in three months in his European Tour rookie season at the Belgian Knockout on Sunday, and he performed the feat with some very unusual yet impressive tee shots.
REPORT: OUR MAN GUIDO WINS BELGIAN KNOCKOUT!
Migliozzi's manager Niall Horan of Modest Golf recently told us how the 22-year-old Italian loves to play Tiger Woods style 'stinger' shots on the course, and that was clear for all to see in Antwerp last week.
None more evident than on the ninth tee during his semi-final match against his friend and fellow Modest Golf player Ewen Ferguson.
While most players would tee the ball low to play a stinger shot, Migliozzi did the complete opposite and teed it up HIGH!
Migliozzi explains exactly why below...
For those asking!
I use the high tee purely for compression. It forces me to make a steeper angle of attack without having any force on the ground. This helps control trajectory and ball-flight in tough conditions!
I saw the shot myself on Instagram last year! @EuropeanTour https://t.co/RXUaxN0AqY— Guido Migliozzi (@guidomigliozzi) June 4, 2019
Tee it high, let it fly!
