Now here's something you don't see every day...

Tiger Woods goes FISHING for his golf ball in a trash can!

Tiger Woods would likely be the first person to label his final round of the Genesis Invitational as trash following a final-round 77, but it quite literally was on the par-4 12th hole at Riviera.

Woods, who finished dead last in 68th place on 11-over par, fired his tee shot 294 yards left into the native area and his Bridgestone ball ended up in a waste basket by a fence. Watch the short video clip below...

The 15-time major champion received a free drop and then hacked his ball with a pitching wedge left of the green but he did manage to rescue a par when holing out from two and half feet.

But it would be a weekend to forget for Woods, who finished with rounds of 76 and 77.

He will now take a short break from competitive action in a bid to rest and get his game back in shape.

"I was just off, it happens," said Woods. "I'm off and I got a chance to have the week off this week and do a little prep, a little practicing, some training, be at home and all positive things."
