McIlroy's childhood home on the market
Four bed has artificial putting green and golf studio.
Rory McIlroy’s childhood home in Holywood, Northern Ireland, is up for sale for around the £240,000 mark.
The four-bedroom semi has an artificial putting green, and the garage has been transformed into a golf studio.
Estate agent John Minnis describes it as a “fabulous opportunity to purchase this beautifully presented red brick semi-detached property which is the former family home of world class golfer Rory McIlroy.”
They said the price has not been inflated because it is the four-time major champion’s former home.
“This was the home he was brought up in. If you have seen the pictures of him chipping balls into the washing machine, that was in this house.
"It's a great property in a great location and no matter who it was, it will sell."
