Jack Bartlett shows off BRILLIANT golf impressions
Watch the latest video from the European Tour featuring golf impersonator Jack Bartlett.
Jack Bartlett's golf fantastic impressions quickly went viral on social media when we saw his spot on impersonation of the likes of Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Keegan Bradley and more. In his latest video, we see some of Bartlett's impressions of players on the European Tour, including Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy and even Colin Montgomerie.
Earlier this year, Bartlett announced on Twitter that he would be working with the European Tour for 2019 after the impersonator became an internet star.
Bartlett had ambitions of playing on the Tour himself and moved from the UK to the US to play golf and eventually took a shot at earning his card on the European Tour Q School.
After failing to make it on Tour, Bartlett's hobby of golf impressions continued, something he started doing at his local club when he was just 17 years old.
“I only did it for fun,” Bartlett says. “I used to impersonate other members.”
Whilst visiting some friends in Florida, his friends encouraged him to record some of his impressions of PGA Tour stars and put them on social media.
What Bartlett didn't expect to happen was for the video to go viral, with Tour professionals even retweeting and commenting on how good his impressions were.
"We just wanted to get as many followers as possible,” Bartlett says. “Maybe we’ll get 100 views or 100 retweets. But I didn’t expect it to be like this.
“I went on Twitter and saw so many notifications. It just really blew up.”
Fast forward to now and Bartlett is making a career out of his impressions and working with the Tour he once tried to make it on. Make sure you follow Bartlett on Twitter: @JackBartlett1
